These words confirm Nephi's vision and testimony of the ultimate triumph of the Lord. Nephi saw the Lord's millennial reign as earth's King, the One with the right to rule and reign here and hereafter. Nephi was forbidden to write about his full vision of this, nonetheless he saw and affirmed he saw them occur. The eternal government of Christ, as our Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace will have no end. If we have a part in it, we will be exalted. This part of Nephi's vision not only ennobles and exalts the Lord, but also raises our own hope through Him. If He is the "Everlasting Father," then we have hope as His "children."
