Ammons Sling is the sling Ammon used to cast stones while defending the king’s flocks. Ammon “began to cast stones at them with his sling” and slew a certain number of those who scattered the flocks (Alma 17:36).
Ammon used the sling “with mighty power” among the attackers, who became astonished at his power. When they could not hit him with stones, they came forth with clubs to slay him (Alma 17:36).
