Jaredite Barge Air Holes are openings the Lord commanded the brother of Jared to make “in the top, and also in the bottom.” The Lord said that when they “suffer for air,” they should “unstop the hole and receive air” (Ether 2:20).
The brother of Jared said, “in them we cannot breathe, save it is the air which is in them” (Ether 2:19). If water came in, the Lord instructed, “ye shall stop the hole, that ye may not perish in the flood” (Ether 2:20).
