Visions and dreams are experiences associated with conversion, warnings, and claims about God. Abish had been converted for many years “on account of a remarkable vision of her father” (Alma 19:16). She had “never having made it known” before she saw Lamoni’s servants, the queen, the king, and Ammon fallen to the earth (Alma 19:17).
The Lord “warned Omer in a dream that he should depart out of the land,” and Omer left with his family (Ether 9:3). Korihor accused priests of bringing people to believe through “their traditions and their dreams and their whims and their visions and their pretended mysteries” (Alma 30:28).
