Machinery is among the possessions in which Jarom’s people became exceedingly rich as they multiplied and spread upon the face of the land. They possessed “fine workmanship of wood, in buildings, and in machinery” (Jarom 1:8).
Jarom’s people made “all manner of tools of every kind to till the ground” and prepared weapons for war. Their preparations included “the sharp pointed arrow, and the quiver, and the dart, and the javelin” (Jarom 1:8).
